	Rubber-Colin This volume presents a selection of reviews on topics of current industrial interest in the field of rubber and rubber composites. Both natural and synthetic rubbers are discussed and each chapter is written by a well-known specialist in the area. Particular products of the rubber and associated industries are described and the latest developments discussed. Specific areas include cables, footwear, sports goods and the latex and allied industries. Following on from the first volume in the series, a review chapter is included on the theme of miscellaneous and unusual applications of rubber and rubber-like materials. Recent developments in mixing machines and rubber processing are discussed in detail and chapters are included on compound mixing and processing problems, short fibre reinforced elastomeric composite materials, and the important topic of hazards and health and safety considerations in rubber processing.
